Easter event performer, ZICO

Zico Pollari (a.k.a Kimmo Pollari) a native of Finland had a special interest in music ever since his childhood. In his late teens he was the lead vocalist for regionally acclaimed band BIG TALK(1989-1993) of Seinajoki, Finland. Big Talk disbanded in 1993 and for 7 years Zico concentrated on other aspects of life such as studies in international trade and a career in business.

In 2000 he made his way to Nashville, TN to develop his talents as a musician and a songwriter. He continued music training in Tulsa, OK at VBI school of music and worship. In 2002 he was appointed as one of the worship leaders at Victory Christian Center (VCC) and was featured on live worship album: Finishing Strong by VCC .

In 2003 Zico transitioned to Dallas, TX, where he served as a music director at a church for 3 years. in 2007 he returned back to Tulsa, OK to VCC for 2 more years.

Zico is a co-founder of  Caremission International C.M.I, a non-profit humanitarian aid organization. C.M.I was founded in October of 2009 to help raise funds for projects for street children and the poor in Brazil. C.M.I partners with various organizations and individuals in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and Europe. CMI participates in various fundraising projects to support projects for children and the poor. Current 5 projects involve homes for street children and vocational training programs in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte in Brazil. My heart is to help people in physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual need. I learned that if we want to get good results and be effective in our efforts to help people, we all need to work together !"
